"I also found a terrace outside the front of the hotel in the cliff the gardens where i could pop out with a coffee or glass of wine and sit and admire the views and have a sneaky cigarette."

pleasant sea view stay

quick lift bright room excellent food

i found the check in process quick and informative i stayed in room 508 on the third floor a quick silent two-person lift was available the room was bright and clean the bed was comfortable meal times were professionally managed and the food was excellent.

the heated towel rail in the bathroom was on twice a day and too hot i asked for it to be turned off but it was never seen to the valve was stuck and maintenance could not move it this needs a fix.

breakfast offered a good selection of options the bar prices were reasonable costing £4.30 for a pint of lager bitter or cider special options were also available including vegan options and vegetarian options.

my double room sea view on the third floor was bright and clean the bathroom looked brand new wardrobe and drawer space was plentiful a two person lift provided quick access to the upper floors.

the hotel is in a great location with excellent views over the bay it is a short walk to the town centre and there is easy access down to north beach this is very convenient.

every member of staff was polite efficient and helpful nothing was too much trouble petra our server was always polite and efficient manager jan and assistant manager steve were both happy to chat and joke.

A Grateful Guest's Perspective

excellent location north beach pasta offer charity facilities

The location was excellent. It was just across from the North beach and a short walk to shops. Staff offered pasta and baked potatoes during the Ironman weekend. They provided toilet facilities for charity.

The draft beer selection included only Carlsberg lager or Tetley smooth bitter.

The hotel is near the town center. I parked at the North beach car park, about 8 minutes away. Parking cost £5.40 for 24 hours, quite reasonable.

good breakfast helpful staff nice view limited selection poor entertainment repetitive performance

the room view were nice. breakfast was good. i found the staff helpful, especially at the reception desk. they were quick with any request.

the draft beer selection was limited. i could only choose between carlsberg and tetley smooth. the evening entertainment was not great and bingo was played every night. the singer performance seemed repetitive.
